It seemed like a question worthy of the year 2000: In the event of a complete societal breakdown, how long can human ingenuity keep us alive in the relative safety of a hotel room? To address that question, we embarked on a mission to see how long we could maintain two human lives in complete isolation, using only the stock of emergency rations contained in a hotel minibar fridge.
